Marginal Way Skatepark

In this “Perspectives” video series, Planet Earth Clothing shares the story of what started as an illegal ramp under an overpass on Seattle City property that has now sprawled into a legal 10,000 square foot concrete skatepark. Built by skaters, for skaters it continues to grow backed by a community of people that have a stake in the park, not just for themselves, but for the entire skateboard community of Seattle. They raise the money, they build it, they maintain it. It’s a public skatepark, built one truck of concrete at a time.

In an industry of televised competitions and household name pros, Planet Earth takes a step back and has created a down to earth, behind the scenes real-life 5-part video series & interview documenting the effort and completion of this homegrown, grass-roots DIY skatepark. Beyond just telling the story, Planet Earth donated a concrete truck of concrete, and spent 5 days documenting the completion of the new shallow bowl & the crew skating it after. Not all bros are pros, in this web-documentary you’ll find their inspiring story, seldom told in the skate industry.

Forum’s new “Fuck-it” teaser looks rad! Plus nice choice with the Kenny Loggins. I don’t care what you say Kenny is not dead.
